
As well as been a mecca for teen fashion, Harajuku is also home to Meiji Jingu -Tokyo's premiere shrine and Yoyogi Park which is the areas biggest park. In the springtime Yoyogi Park is alive with cherry blossoms and people partying under the trees. Omotesando Hills is a huge shopping mall which was designed by one of Japan's greatest architects Tadao Ando.
The closest hotels to Harajuku are located around Shibuya Station and on the same train line. Shibuya is also a major fashion and entertainment district in Tokyo which is constantly producing new youth culture. Its symbol is the Shibuya 109 building, located by Shibuya Station.
